As soon as the temperature rises: heat above ~20 °C, long efforts, heavy sweating. Below that, the fleur de sel in the gels/DrinkMix is enough for a normal sweat profile. To test your sweat profile and learn your electrolyte needs, book your Metabolic Scan at the laboratory without delay.
It depends on your sweat rate and salt concentration (highly variable); the Metabolic Scan / calculator helps you target it. On average a trained athlete loses 600 to 1000mg of sodium per hour. One dose of Hydratation® contains 815mg of high-purity sodium.
Same bottle or separately: you can choose to separate electrolytes and carbohydrates, or to merge these two intakes in the same supports for a protocol with no mental load.
Sodium (fleur de sel from the Pyrenees), potassium, magnesium, zinc, vitamins, no superfluous sugar.
Hydratation is a mineral intake, not an energy source. It contains no sugar; it is a pure mineral load.
Slightly saline, overall mild so it stays palatable over long durations while remaining refreshing. Designed to make you want to drink in high heat, and to combine with your carbohydrates without altering their taste.
They contribute to fluid and neuromuscular balance, but cramps are multifactorial. Hydratation covers the losses and aims to provide a functional response to the cramp phenomenon thanks to a highly digestible magnesium bisglycinate. For athletes prone to cramps, it is worthwhile to consume Hydratation® outside of effort too, throughout the day.
